    What can’t it do?

    I’ve had my PG1000 for months and the more I use it the more I love it. It’s not just the amazing ability to smoke low and slow but also the ability to cook so much more. The charbroil side is great for high temp searing and grilling. I’ve used it as a smoky oven to make smoked meatloaf or put my pizza stone on the indirect side and cook amazing pizza with that wood fired oven taste. Try some fruit wood and make some cookies. If you like the appearance of a good smoke ring this thing delivers. Temp control is fantastic. I’ve cooked as low as 180 degrees (tons of smoke) and as high as 650 degrees on the indirect side for my pizza nights. Complaints? Only a few minor things like smoke leaking through several places around the cooker and where smoke leaks the stainless will get dark stains from the smoke. Not a big deal but causes a little more maintenance to keep looking new. When cooking at very high temps the lid of the pellet box will impinge on the grill hood due to metal expansion. Only does this when I've got it cranked to max. Overall, it’s an amazing machine and I’d buy it again in a heart beat.

    I smoke ribs brisket pork chicken bake pizza cold smoke—anything you want in this grill it is awesome. oh yeah and you can seer the heck out of burgers and steaks. I no longer use my charcoal grills or gas grills or woodfired smokers.

    I’ve owned mine for about 3 years now it works just as it did when new. I love that you can smoke and grill. I smoked a brisket when it was -20° outside and it had no issues maintaining temperature.
