My wife and I were just talking about my smoker. We have been married 15 years and it has been part of my life for probably 17 years, maybe more. The only thing close to an issue i have ever had with it was smoking a brisket on a very hot day (95+) in the sun. The electronics over heated. Moving it into the shade and it started right back up and finished nicely. My bad and lesson learned. I'll be back to buy another one, if this one ever has any issues.

I have had cook shack smokers for over 10 years and love them! The cooking temperature is consistent, and everything I’ve tried has turned out fantastic! I even bought another one for my summer residence!

SM025 ..I have been using this smoker that i purchased new for i would guess 10 years. I have smoked everything and NEVER had anything turn out bad. In the beginning i did use the Cookshack user recipes that pointed me in the correct direction.
The only issue i have had with my smoker was the temperature probe broke and i replaced it. I have nothing bad to say about the unit and do recommend to anyone with any ability level.

I ordered one for one for my PG500 to see how I would like it before ordering another one for my PG1000i. It came in this week and I tried it on pork chops that I reversed seared. First I smoked them at around 200 degrease and when they were close to being done done, I turned it up 450 and grilled them on the sear section. I used booth wood chunks and chips. The smoke/grill flavor was definitely improved with this Flavor Enhancer. For longer cooks, I will leave the grill/sear section grate off, as well has the diffuser/hood so that I can easily add more wood throughout the cook. Like anything the more you use and get used to it, the better the outcome will be. I definitely give it a 5 out of 5 stars and will be ordering an other one for my PG1000i!

This is a great addition on shorter cooks. IE. ribs, chicken and smaller cuts of pork and beef. The only thing I would change is drill a couple of holes in the diffuser/hood to be able to access and remove. So I can add wood/pellets for longer cooks.
