My 10-yr old PG-500 started blowing the GFI receptacle. Called them and they called me next day, said to remove purple wire from controller board, this line is the power line to the ignitor. He said if it stopped setting off the GFI them my problem was a bad ignitor. He gave me the part number PA045. Got one and da-da my smoker is back and running. Dana A. Focks
