My wife and I were just talking about my smoker. We have been married 15 years and it has been part of my life for probably 17 years, maybe more. The only thing close to an issue i have ever had with it was smoking a brisket on a very hot day (95+) in the sun. The electronics over heated. Moving it into the shade and it started right back up and finished nicely. My bad and lesson learned. I'll be back to buy another one, if this one ever has any issues.

SM025 ..I have been using this smoker that i purchased new for i would guess 10 years. I have smoked everything and NEVER had anything turn out bad. In the beginning i did use the Cookshack user recipes that pointed me in the correct direction.
The only issue i have had with my smoker was the temperature probe broke and i replaced it. I have nothing bad to say about the unit and do recommend to anyone with any ability level.

I have had this smallest unit for over 30 years, and you can compare it to all of the modern day smokers like pellets, gravity feed charcoal and this still kicks ass for smoking. It takes minimal chips, always makes the best outcome and after 30 years, I finally think I need to get a spare heating element although it has not ever failed. The hinges work like new, the bolt on the door works perfect...Just a grate item.
