How is it possible that no one has left a review for this amazing smoker yet?! 6 years ago, my wife decided she wanted a smoker. I did my homework and quickly became familiar with this all-American smoker. It sounded too good to be true, but the price suggested it would not disappoint. While some traditionalist smoker snobs may look down their noses on those who use electric smokers, the only thing I care about is the finished product. The bible says, "by their fruits shall ye know them". Six years later, this thing continues to crank out incredible fruit (if you're picking up what I'm laying down)! Prep your meat, throw it and some wood chunks in the smoker, set the smoker to cook for a time certain or until it reaches a certain internal temperature, hit start and forget about it. I almost always use the probe to reach an internal temp because the smoker kicks over to warm after it reaches temp. When it's time to eat, I fetch the perfectly smoked brisket (or whatever else) from the smoker, carve it up and then lap up all the praise my dinner guests heap on me for my smoking prowess! If you've got the budget for this smoker and you're a lazy uncompromising chef like me, the Cookshack Amerique won't disappoint!
Pro tip: don't use the power washer to spray this thing down when it gets dusty. Water will get in the control module and you'll have to remove it and dry it out with a heat gun before it will work properly again.

Have used this wonderful smoker for over 10 years with no issues. Added the SS cart, larger cover, six place hanging rack and the mesh grill racks. Use primarily for smoking fish (Lake Trout and Salmon) but have smoked everything else. Easy to use, clean and have had zero issues with the product. Recently ordered “backup” thermometer as OEM still works, but getting tired and soon new cover. Recommend this excellent product to all!

I have had my AmeriQue a long time. In fact, it was manufactured in 2008. Over the years this machine has provided me flawless BBQ whenever needed. I can't recall how many times people have come up to me at tailgaters and parties and asked me how in the heck did I manage such great BBQ. Well, the AmeriQue is half the secret. The other half is the rub, and accompanying method, which I won't disclose. But the AmeriQue is a set it and forget it BBQ master device. Just load the wood box with a couple ounces of wood, put in your meat, close the door, set your time/temp, hit start and let the machine do the rest. Perfect every single time, period. I know mine is the old style but it just keeps on smokin' . . . and I love it! Thank you Cookshack for over a decade of fantastic BBQ enjoyment!

Bought my model 50 Cookshack smoker oven in 2001.
SER: WD 2390. Done hundreds of lbs of ribs, brisket, fish and sausage.
Thinking of buying a new one just because of the digital controls.
