Have had my SM025 for about 8 years, and had to replace the controller this year. It took me more time to remove and replace the slightly shrunken smoker cover than to swap out the controller. I smoked a pork butt today, and the controller functioned flawlessly. Will find out about the pork in about a half hour....

I currently have a Model 020 built in 2000 and the face plate was broken however it still worked. I was at a friends house and his smoker had a model M025 controller with a meat probe. I contacted Cooksshack and they streared me to the right contoller and meat probe. The product arrived in a well protected box a few days after i placed my oder.
