Ranch Style Smoked BBQ Beans


¼ lb. bacon, raw, chopped
¾ c. onion, diced
½ gal. ketchup
1 oz. cider vinegar
½ c. molasses
¾ lb. dark brown sugar
¾ c. dark corn syrup
1 oz. Worcestershire
½ teaspoon liquid smoke
1/3 oz. dry mustard
1/3 Tablespoon black pepper
1/3 Tablespoon granulated onion
1 lb. smoked beef brisket, cubed
1 No. 10 can pinto beans, cooked, drained, rinsed


Sauté bacon until brown. Add onions to browned bacon and sauté until transparent. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook bean sauce for 10 minutes. Add sauce to 1, #10 can or equivalent of cooked pinto beans. This mixture may be made in advance and heated as needed.
Yield: 1¼ gal.
