Smoked Beans


1 lb. Pinto Beans
1/2 tsp. Dried Oregano
1 tsp. Cookshack Chili Mix
2 Ham Hocks
1 Onion
4-6 c. Water


Soak beans in 4 cups of water overnight. Rinse beans and add oregano, chili powder, chopped onion and ham hocks. Pour 4-6 cups of water over mixture. (Until top of beans is covered.) Smoke in the AmeriQue for 6 hours at 225° or until beans are tender. *Higher heat may be required to achieve desired tenderness.
