Cookshack Smoked Boston Butt
Ingredients
8 -10 lb. Boston butt (aka pork butt) Cookshack RibRub Cookshack Spicy Chicken Rub
Instructions
Trim excess fat off the butt. Season with a 50/50 mixture of RibRub and Spicy Chicken Rub.
Place in the smoker and smoke-cook at 225ºF with 2 ounces of hickory wood until the pork butt reaches an internal temperature of 190ºF.
Remove from smoker, wrap in foil, and let rest for 30 minutes to one hour.
To serve, pull the pork into small pieces and pile onto a bun for sandwiches.
Optional: top with vinegar based coleslaw for an added tangy crunch
