Cooking Classes

Want to learn from the best in BBQ? Contact us today to register your spot in one of our Cooking Classes. We offer two types:

  1. Fast Eddy’s Restaurant & Catering Cooking Class:

    This class is taught by Fast Eddy himself (Ed Maurin), along with David Bouska owner of David’s Processing/Butcher BBQ, and Smokin' Okie (Russ Garrett). It is set in a real commercial kitchen and focuses on raising your profitability by teaching you about meat cuts, re-thermalization and waste reduction . This class is a 2 day class and includes 3 nights stay at a hotel.
  2. Fast Eddy’s Championship Cooking Class:

    This class is a hands-on event that will guide you through the maze of selecting cuts of meat, marinades, rubs, smoking woods, and smoking techniques to use in barbecue competitions and your own backyard. You will learn how to prepare and smoke-cook the four KCBS meat categories: Chicken, pork ribs, pork butt, and brisket. This class is also taught by World Food Barbecue Champion David Bouska of Butcher BBQ and Legendary Pitmaster Ed "Fast Eddy" Maurin.
