Cookshack Donates Fast Eddy's by Cookshack Smoker to the American Royal
Winner of the American Royal’s Texas Hold
‘Em Tournament on October 4 will take home a Fast Eddy’s by Cookshack

PONCA CITY, OKLAHOMA, USA – September 28, 2007 The Grand Prize
winner of the 2007 American Royal’s third annual Texas Hold ‘Em
Tournament will take home will take home a Fast Eddy’s by Cookshack
FEC300 barbecue smoker oven, valued at $10,500.
The FEC300 is one of Cookshack’s line of Fast Eddy’s by Cookshack
100% wood burning smokers and has a 300 lb. capacity. FEC’s have been
bringing home the prize money for growing numbers of professional
barbecue competitors including winners of the 2006 Jack Daniel’s, the
2007 Houston Livestock Show’s World’s Championship Barbecue Contest,
and state and local level contests.
Says FEC inventor and Kansas City native Ed “Fast Eddy” Maurin,
“It's a great feeling to give back to my hometown and the Royal with
the donation of this smoker. FEC smokers have proven themselves time
and again by helping teams carry off the big prizes. It's a pleasure to
support barbecue in general and the American Royal.”
Cookshack smokers will be available for purchase at the American
Royal, and Maurin will compete as Fast Eddy’s BBQ in the 2007 American
Royal Barbecue, space 986.
