Hi, I'm Cayley Armstrong, Marketing Coordinator for Cookshack. I'm originally from Alberta, Canada, but I migrated south to Oklahoma for University (Go Pokes!). When I graduated from OSU in 2005 I found my dream job at Cookshack, and have been SmartSmoking ever since. I now love barbecue and smoked foods, and I enjoy tinkering with new recipes on my Smokette on the weekends, most recently with a variety of game meat provided by my boyfriend. One of my favorite things is hearing our customers success stories, so keep them coming!

Hello! I'm Karen Hoogendoorn and I'm proud to be part of the Cookshack Nation. I've been with Cookshack since 1985. I love my AmeriQue smoker and before that I used a Smokette for 19 years. My family thinks it's Christmas every time I open the door and pull out their favorite smoked food. My husband loves to fish, so you can imagine the great smoked salmon, trout, walleye, crappie, and striper we smoke in our AmeriQue. I enjoy answering questions about our Cookshack products, especially about the consumer smokers, it's so much fun using our smokers and to top it off what a great finished product. Hello, I'm Fast Eddy and I live in the heartland of BBQ, Kansas City, MO. I'm a retired KCMO fire fighter and my passion has been BBQ cooking since 1986 when I cooked at my first American Royal cook off. I became interested in cooking with wood pellets in 1990 and went on to market with my own design of a smoker oven using pellets in 1998. I have traveled many places in the world cooking BBQ and am always searching for new and better ways to improve on the Best BBQ in the world, ours! I enjoy the interaction with customers and hearing the success stories of their wins at cook offs and the long lines that extend out the doors of the restaurants. I've been married 28 years and have one son and two gorgeous grand daughters.

My favorite pastimes are reading, listening to country music, especially the classics, and bootscooting (dancing to country music). I have one daughter, son-in-law, and one adorable grandson, who reside in California.
