I have had this grill / smoker for over a year now. I use it at least once a week. Does very good job as a grill or smoking. As a grill really increase smoke flavor over Charcoal. You can smoke as indirect on right side and sear meat on left side. Works very good in cold weather. Highly Recommend this product.
Best grill I have ever owned.

Best choice in a grill i have ever made. 3 years out and we grill out 4-5 nights a week. Smokes great ribs and butts at low temps. I prefer cooking most things at max temp. 600 degrees as long as i use good wood. Hands down the best chicken wings ever. Salt, garlic and some onion powder, 15-20 minutes at 600 degrees. Done when you see the juices boiling under the skin. Here is the trick to everything I grill. Low and slow, or fast and hot. A light coating of oil all the way around whatever you are cooking. Flash fries the outside at high temp sealing in the juices. Simply awesome.
Fabulous grill and easy to use.

I have used my PG1000 for several years and it still works and functions great. It cooks great and is easy to use, whether smoking or grilling. Love my Pellet grill!
